You'd think after 5 months here I'd know how to ride the RER...

Rugby is on right now. It's got to be the dumbest sport ever. Seriously. They just push each other around and really never get anywhere. Team France is playing Team Scotland at least that's what I think Ecosse is in French. I'm pretty sure. Team France is winning 5-3. The men on team France are really fugs. No lie. Team Scotland is really good looking. It must be cold out because I can see their breath. They wear this really tiny shorts...it's pretty funny looking. Anyways, enough about rugby.

Yesterday I went to this bookstore to look for the books that I need to buy for second semester. I think I need to buy 6 or 7. They are all French literature books by Balzac and Hugo, to name a few. The books really weren't that expensive. I think the most expensive one was 6 Euro, around there. I didn't buy any though because I wasn't sure what editions were needed for certain books. I'm just glad it won't be too expensive. When I was walking to the bookstore I saw an accident. It was your classic scooter vs car...which happens a lot here. The car was backing out of this spot where he wasn't supposed to be and he didn't see the scooter and hit him. The guy on the scooter fell off. It was kinda scary but I think the scooter guy was fine because neither he nor the guy in the car were going very fast.

After the book store I went to this music store to look for the cds that I talked about in my last post. I walked around there for ever and couldn't find anything. I was getting really frustrated. Nothing was really organized well which was annoying. All the French music was in one spot and it was mixed with really old stuff so it was hard to find anything new. I left and got on the RER B. I got on at a stop that I don't normally go to and it just threw me off completely. I thought I was going the wrong direction so I got off at the next stop but when I looked at the screen that says where the next train is going I realized that I was on the right train and was going the right direction, I'm just an idiot. So I had to wait for the next train and I wasn't very happy. When I finally got back on the train I decided to go to the mall at Montparnasse because I thought there was a FNAC there which is like Best Buy. However, when I finally got to the mall, I looked at the directory and there wasn't a FNAC. Could I have been any more wrong yesterday? I came back to the apartment and started to watch Beauty and the Beast because I liked to watch it when I'm annoyed or stressed...for some reason I don't know why. I got to the part where Lumiere starts to sing Be Our Guest and it froze and wouldn't work. I wasn't very happy.

Last night I watched The Blind Side and Brothers both or which were amazing. I really enjoyed them. Tonight, as you know, is the Super Bowl. I'm going to try to stay up to watch some of it but it doesn't start until after midnight here, so we'll see how long I last. Tomorrow I want to go to FNAC to find those cds. I also want to buy my tickets to Greece for spring break. Hopefully I'll get all of that done.

A bientot
