Poetry sucks...no matter what language it's in

So Renee's dog who's name is not Fenton...it's Norton (like the security thing) peed on the floor this morning. I almost stepped in it. OMG I would've been so pissed if I did. So I cleaned it up because I'm nice. Breakfast today was alright...cereal again. Getting kinda tired of it but if I don't eat I'll be starving all day.

I left for school and when I got there I went to the library to make copies of my student id card for my application for my year long metro pass. I thought the copies would be free but nothing is here. I had to buy a copy card for 2 Euros which sucks but I guess if I need to make copies of something I can use that. I hung out in the court yard area for a bit reading before class.

I had my literature class today and I was really excited for it but once I saw what we were going to be reading I didn't have the same feelings. We're doing a bunch of French poetry and I really don't like poetry, no matter what language it's in. The teacher is an older woman who reminded me of my grandma so that was cool I guess. After taking a bunch of notes I asked this girl sitting next to me what time it was and it was only 3:15....class only started at 2 and doesn't end until 5. I swear we'd been sitting there for 2 hours at least. We got a break but those never help. It took us 30 minutes to read the bibliography on the author of the poem. Each person had to read and section and some of the kids in the class spoke horrible French. I don't mean to be mean but it made me feel better about my French skills. We read 3 poems by this guys named Manot....I think. The poems were interesting but I was so tired of class by then I really wasn't paying attention to what was going on.

After class I came back to the apartment and was starving. Renee makes me dinner on Thursday nights, but she doesn't get back from work until 7:30 and we don't eat until after 8:15. She showed me where the post office was and the ATM machine that I have to use for my debit card. We ate fish for dinner with veggies and this weird grain that wasn't rice. She kept calling it cereal so I really wasn't sure what she was talking about. Dinner was okay. The fish was kinda bland and so was the grain stuff but I ate it anyways. She asked if I wanted to eat dinner with her and her friend on Saturday and I said yes because I don't have to cook which is good for me.

I'm going to try to go to bed early tonight. I have class at 9 and have to leave here by 8:15 so I can be there on time without running through the metro like a crazy person. Oh I also have to finish watching Glee. I'm only 20 minutes in and it's amazing already. I wish I could watch the Office and Grey's tonight with my family, but sadly I can't...obviously because I'm here.

A bientot
