Thunderstorms in Paris?!?!?!

Okay seriously....what's with this weather? It was 74 degrees today and muggy. I was sweating in my cinema class. Everyone else was sweating, especially the professor....he was really sweating. It was kind of gross actually. So today wasn't the greatest day. I'm just having a bad week. Some days are better than others, I'm not sad all the time...just today wasn't that great. I'm still having computer problems. It took close to 2 hours to get my computer started this morning. There's got to be something wrong with it. That can't be normal. I waited for my computer by eating breakfast and going over my notes from last week for class today. After finally getting my computer started it was basically time to get ready for school. I left a little early today so I could make some photo copies of some things in case I need them. I saw some of the girls from the program who are in my cinema class and went and talked to them before my class. Apparently they went out last night....I wasn't invited. I probably wouldn't have gone any ways because its a week day but whatever...

Class today was alright. It is 4 hours instead of the normal 3 because we watch a movie each class. We were split up into 3 groups to answer 1 question. My question was fairly easy. We watched La Belle et La Bete directed by Jean Cocteau. It's Beauty and the Beast in case you were wondering what that meant. It's from 1945 so it's not my favorite Disney movie. It was pretty good. The acting was a little weird and parts of it were just bizarre. Like in this one part, Belle was crying...and instead of crying tears, she cried diamonds. I wish I could do that. and The Beast was smoking....not smoking a cigarette but literally smoking. It was weird. After the movie we took a break and then got into our groups to compare answers. My group was super smart and the things they were talking about were way over my head. The professor asked our group's question first and I volunteered to answer. And of course, I was completely wrong. I felt like an idiot and hoped that someone in the group would help me out a little bit but no one did...I was like thanks guys. Class finally ended and I came back to the lonely apartment.

I sobbed on Skype for a while to my mom...that's always fun...NOT. And then I talked to Casey and Nick which made me a little happier. We're trying to figure out who's getting what room in the house next year and naturally, everyone is fighting over the best rooms on the top floor. I really could care less what room I'm in as long as I have a room. I made my dinner (some microwaveable turkey and spaghetti thing that was pretty good) and I guess they are pretty healthy too....and I got some of the baguette that I bought and ate that for dinner. It was good.

I did my homework after dinner which took an hour and now I'm just hanging out in my room trying to figure out who's playing who in the BNP Parisbas Masters Open (a tennis match in Paris) in November. I've seen ads for it in the Metro and I know Rafael Nadal will be playing...because I've seen his beautiful face on the poster, I just don't know when. It's pretty easy to get to too...you can take the metro. Anyway, I really want to go and if tickets aren't that expensive, which it looks like they won't be (hopefully) I can find someone to go with.

I guess that's all for now. I think I'll go read or watch a movie....perhaps the real Beauty and the Beast

Oh and also....someone on the floor above me has a very large dog and it barks very loud every morning....it's annoying
